Crunch's Pelletier named AHL Player of the WeekTheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announced today Syracuse forward Jacob Pelletier has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending December 14, 2025.
Pelletier scored four goals (two shorthanded) in last week's crunch game, totaling five points and a +5 rating.
Pelletier had a goal and an assist in Syracuse's 3-2 loss to Utica on Wednesday night. He scored the game-winning goal in a short-handed victory over Lehigh Valley on Friday, 3-1, and scored twice in a 7-2 victory over Hartford on Saturday, once on the power play and once on a short-handed penalty kick.
Pelletier has scored multiple points in seven of the past nine games and is tied for the AHL scoring lead with 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 23 games this season. The fifth-year pro from Quebec City has 66 goals and 95 assists for 161 points in 162 career AHL games with Syracuse, Calgary and Stockton and was named to the 2021-22 AHL All-Rookie Team. Pelletier, who was selected by Calgary with the 26th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, played in 87 NHL games with Tampa Bay, Philadelphia and Calgary, scoring 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points.
