According to the report of the medical examiner
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said the gun deaths of two Franklin residents were found to be murder on February 25.
Ann E. Harrison, 66, was found on her kitchen floor while her husband, Ricky L. Harrison, 65, was found in the basement, according to documents received Friday by the Medical Examiner's Office.
The preliminary cause of Ann's death was listed as a homicide in the medical examiner's report, while Ricky was listed as suicide.
Authorities said Franklin police and the fire responded to the house at around 5:20 p.m. after reporting on February 25 at a person at the residence at about 5:20 p.m.
Police said officers need to force them into the home where they found the couple.
The Franklin Police Department press release said the fire department announced they were both dead due to “harm caused by guns.”
