The murderer shouted “death” when stabbing someone to death on quiet London street

A killer screamed “Die, die, die” as he cruelly murdered a man with two knives.
Dellan Charles, 23, died in May 2023 on a quiet suburban street in Hayes, West London.
As he bent over O'Neil, he yelled “dea, die, die”, stabbed him several times before leaving the scene calmly, Kingston Crown Court heard at the trial.
The jury was told how Charles would handle the knife at a nearby address, then made plans to escape the area, and went to the ground. Police said he was arrested in March 2024 in Coventry, the West Midlands, with his “widespread pursuit”.
He yelled “death, die, die” before he calmly left the scene (knowing the police)
Charles was told that he will serve at least 23 years in the Crown Court sentence of Kingston on Monday after being convicted in December.
The jury was told that Mr. O'Neal was a funny, kind and sociable man, and many were affected by his death.
“Sean's heart, charming smile and a personality that loves entertainment will be remembered. He is loved so much by all of us and we miss him every day,” they said in a statement provided by Sean's family.
Kevin Martin, a detective inspector who leads South’s professional crime investigation, added: “The team and I once again pay tribute to Sean’s family, who have shown real strength and solidarity during this frustrating period.
“It’s heartbreaking that nothing can get Sean back, but today, the person responsible for keeping him away from his beloved family is forced to confront the reality of his malicious behavior.”
