Darabont's finale with King's story is heartbreaking and actually what makes the movie popular.

What happens when a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur (called Indominus Rex) escapes containment and causes severe damage to the refurbished and immersive dinosaur-themed amusement park? The close-knit actors show it, but John Goodman's Howard is a force that cannot be ignored.
