Whether you exercise regularly or just tend to be sore muscles, using a massage gun is a great way to relax. If you find yourself looking for someone and frightened by the price tags of popular brands like Theragun, you can also do a deep tissue massage, with cheap massage guns. We have reviewed a lot of options and collected the best budget massage guns for 2025.

This story is Gift Guideour best gift ideas collection throughout the year.

Which is the best total budget massage gun?

The best overall is the Hyperice Hypervolt. It's the same price as the Theragun Mini, but it's better packed, only slightly larger. This is also an ideal massage gun if you are on the go, so you can always release your muscles. This massage gun has three speeds and two massage gun tips, depending on the area you want to target.

Like the Treatment Bureau, Hyperice is a premium brand that matches the price. Speaking of matching, the Hypervolt Go sells for the same price as the Theragun Mini. But I prefer the former, partly because it comes with two heads rather than a massage gun head and has a more comfortable gun design.

Compared to the Maxkare and Tounotronics models, this is a compact massage gun, but it is also larger than the Naipo and Recoverfun. So let's call it “medium”.

But, wow, it's powerful – it's about muscle stretching strength. However, there are only three speeds, which may prove if you prefer a gentler massage. Hyperice does not provide inconvenient portable cases and AC adapters are proprietary.

Between this and Theragun Mini, I'll choose this one. But there are other budget-friendly massage guns that are more useful if you prefer.

  • weight: 1 lb, 8 oz
  • Charging method: ownership
  • Including head count: two
  • include: Pull rope

The triangle mini exerts impressive power to the size of its portable massage gun, but the shape makes it difficult to keep comfortable. More importantly, the Treatment Bureau does not provide multiple head attachments; it only includes one ball head. Other massage guns here come with at least two (even four or even six) for a lower price.

Even at the lowest level of three speeds, the mini speed is stronger than many of the other budget massage gun choices I've tried. In fact, anyone looking for a lightweight, relaxing massage may find it a bit too powerful.

Meanwhile, the unit relies on a proprietary AC adapter, not USB-C. Here's another thing to pack when traveling – the adapter doesn't even fit into Theragody's comfortable zipper carrying case.

While I'm happy to provide you with deep organizational relief, it's hard to recommend. There are too many other models with more features and lower price.

  • weight: 1 lb, 8 oz
  • Charging method: ownership
  • Including head count: one
  • include: zipper

Naipo's massager is the lightest and most compact model in the group, with a small but comfortable grip and more hitting force than you would expect.

Other advantages include five speed settings and four different massage heads. Naipo has not provided a carry case, which is a bit disappointing. But my only real complaint is that it is not in the quiet massage gun. Another “Minis” in the review, Recusefun and Sportneer produce much less noise.

I've seen various coupon or code deals that make this massager price lower so you should get it when it's for sale.

  • weight: 14.11 oz
  • Charging method: USB-C
  • Including head count: Four
  • include: No

The Recoverfun Mini comes in three colors (including dazzling red) which is my favorite type of Mani. Although it's heavier than the Naipo's similarly compact model, the metal barrel feels a little cold until it gets warmer, it's also surprisingly quiet. (The extra noise doesn't help when you try to relax.)

The gun offers four speed settings and restores Fun offers “big four” accessories: ball, bullet, fork and flat. Flat aluminum is made of aluminum, it has no obvious advantages that I can see but looks cool. You will also get a towing box, although you have to provide your own electric USB port for the USB-C charging cable.

  • weight: 1 lb, 5 oz
  • Charging method: USB-C
  • Including head count: Four
  • include: Pull rope

You know as the saying goes: Two heads are far better than one. But is this the case with most massage guns? I thought Fishda's Frankenstein was just a head, but if it didn't provide twice as much muscle irritation, damn it. For large areas like thighs and hips, I really like this “bigger” massage.

Fortunately, it doesn't sound twice as loud as other guns. In fact, it is surprisingly quiet. It also has a relatively compact shape, basically a later version of the recovery simulation. But it comes in some weight: 1.7 pounds, and it weighs more than any of the best massage guns in the size grade. Expect arm fatigue to be set earlier.

It's also on the expensive side of the other models, although given the double head is expected. However, you can usually find coupons that will lower the price.

  • weight: 1 lb, 11 oz
  • Charging method: USB-C
  • Including head count: Four (second time)
  • include: Pull rope
