Old clips are misshapen, showing how Kenyan leaders react to losing the 2025 AUC race
Kenya’s former leader Raila Odinga leads the African Union Commission (AUC) competition in the February 2025 election in Ethiopia. But this statement is wrong: the footage was taken in March 2023, when Odinga was banned from entering the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation (DCI) in Nairobi. Contrary to this statement, Kenyan leaders admitted their failure and congratulated Mahamoud Ali Youssouf on his victory.
