Hamas handed over the bodies of four Israeli hostages to the Red Cross
Hamas handed over the bodies of four Israeli hostages to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip, seen on Thursday morning from a live broadcast by Khan Yunis.
Palestinian militants set up a stage at the handover site where many cheering onlookers gathered next to dozens of uniformed masked and masked militants.
Four black coffins are shown on the stage, with the background depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a bloody vampire who lingers on the image of four hostages of the dead.
“War Criminal Netanyahu and his army killed them with Zionist fighter rockets,” the text next to the image read. The Israeli TV host described the scene as a “horror theater.”
According to Hamas, the deceased included a mother and her two young sons: Shiri Bibas and her boys Ariel and Kfir.
Israel plans to return the body and verify its identity. This marks the first time that the remains of Israeli victims have been handed over to Israeli victims since the massacre led by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
Israeli troops had previously recovered several hostage bodies from the Gaza Strip and brought them back to Israel.
Hamas claimed that three Bibas family members were killed in an Israeli air strike in the early stages of the war.
