Best Bluetooth speakers in 2025

Sonos roaming: Roaming is currently white or black and is currently the smallest and most affordable Sonos speaker (if you don't count those $99 Sonos Symfonisk ikea ikea ikea wi-fi bookshelf speakers compatible with Sonos), despite its use for mini wireless speakers Quite expensive. This Sonos roaming model, such as the larger Sonos Move 2 portable speaker, comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, can take advantage of the existing Sonos multi-room audio system and is linked to other 2 Series 2-compatible Sonos speakers. Tribit Xsound Go: Despite being on the market for several years, the Tribit Xsound Go is still one of the top Bluetooth speakers for that money. Apart from playing the sound of your favorite music and more, this affordable Bluetooth speaker is completely waterproof. It has undergone some minor upgrades over the years. Read our full review of “Tribit Xsound Go” to learn more.
JBL pulse 5: JBL's pulse speakers are now its fifth generation, with sound quality and 360-degree light show improved. JBL “extends the transparent exterior” so the customizable lighting display looks even more impressive. (There is a companion app for iOS and Android, which allows you to change the brightly colored lighting effects.) The speakers are also IP67 dust-resistant and water-resistant, and offer up to 12 hours of battery at modest volume levels. . I gave a full review of the JBL Pulse 5 in January 2023 and it is still a great speaker option.
Anker sport thrives:Anker's more expensive Soundcore Motion Boom Plus (see above) is a substantial upgrade to the original sport boom, but this model is still a very good mini boom box. The speakers come with handles and weigh over 4 pounds, reminding me of those giant flashlights or “floating lanterns” that were popular about 30 years ago. According to records, the sport boom actually does float and is fully waterproof with IPX7 rating. Find more in our complete Anker Movement Prosperity Review.
UE HyperBoom: Ultimate Ear Boom Bluetooth speakers come in several different sizes, but none of them are like Hyperboom. A super-large wireless speaker that cues the scales at a massive 13 pound speed, Hyperboom makes the UE Megaboom 3 look easy. It's not cheap, but it has better sound quality than many of the giant portable speakers on the market today. Read our full review of UE HyperBoom.
Marshall Willen: Marshall's Little Mono Willen speakers are similar to Bose's Soundlink Micro and other micro speakers (such as the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2). Like those speakers, it has an integrated belt on its base. Its 2-inch full-trip driver and two passive radiators make louder than you might think and offers decent clarity and enough bass to avoid tiny sounds (you can get from three Select sound mode in the preset).
Distribute the storm box (No stock): Stormbox looks like a cross between UE and JBL speakers. We suspect this is not accidental. This fully waterproof speaker costs significantly less than the JBL Flip 5 and Flip 6 and produces a much louder sound. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 20 hours of battery life to play music and more. Tribit's Xsound speakers might be a better value, but Stormbox is more stylish.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (Second Generation): A few years ago, Bang & Olufsen upgraded its dome-shaped aluminum A1 A1 speaker with improved battery life, better speaker performance (now with a three-particle array) and slightly improved sound. Not only is it the smallest wireless speaker for a Danish company, it is technically the most affordable. You can learn more about the small and mean B&O beousound A1 in our full review.
Bose Soundlink Micro: Although a bit expensive and a upgrade, the Bose Soundlink Micro is small in size and has more bass than other pocket-friendly speakers. This is a completely waterproof Bluetooth speaker with three color options, although the blue version seems hard to find. I tested the speaker in 2018 and scored 8.3 in the Bose Soundlink Micro review.
Anker Soundcore Motion Plus: Anker's Soundcore Motion Plus was launched in 2019, but it's still one of the best speakers, selling for around $100. It's bigger than many mini Bluetooth speakers, but it's still compact. It sounds fuller than most of its competitive sound in its price range, bass, more volume and better clarity. It is also completely waterproof (IPX7 level) and provides support for APTX streaming codecs, such as Samsung's Galaxy Phones that support its devices. Read more in my Anker Soundcore Motion Plus Review.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore: Its sound quality is a bit too high, but the BeoSound Explore is a very good small speaker with a sleek, eye-catching design, completely waterproof and dustproof (IP67 rating), provides excellent battery life and has good The battery life listens to 27 hours of music at medium volume levels.
Monophone scale 3: Monprice tends to make very versatile electronics, and its understated Soundstage 3 Bluetooth speakers may not stun you with their design, despite its appealing minimalist aesthetic. It's a good value, thanks to its ability to play a loud sound with strong bass and decent clarity, and with 50 watts of power, it drives a 5.25-inch “concave aluminum cone furnace”, Flanked by two 1-inch silk-Domore tweeters. It also has good connectivity options including digital optics, 3.5mm analog and RCA analog wired inputs, allowing you to connect to a TV or other stereo components. There is also a sub-port.
Tribit Xsound Mega (Out of stock): Over the past few years, Tribit has made several Bluetooth speakers that have brought a lot of prosperity. Add its new Xsound Mega to the list. Tribit charges the Xsound Mega for more outdoor speakers – including lanyards that surround it as a mini Boombox – but it works well indoors. It has an LED light show that you can turn on or off, and there are three EQ settings: XBASS, MUSIC and Audiobook. Additionally, it can be used as a power bank to charge your mobile device.
