Will a coastal blizzard hit Ocean State?

Providence – Coastal storm forecasters have been monitoring it, and it looks like it will spread to the sea with little impact on Rhode Island, according to the National Weather Service.

The Meteorological Bureau said there is a high chance that Rhode Island will fall snow on Thursday, but it is expected to accumulate little.

“The main forecasting challenges (Thursday) to (Thursday) night around the northwest range of the distant sea storm blizzard shield,” the Meteorological Bureau said in its forecast discussion.

The National Weather Service predicts weather in southern New England from Norton, Massachusetts.

This is where snow is likely

The Meteorological Bureau said the snow would most likely only refresh the New England coast, while Cape Cod and Martha’s vineyards earned 1 to 3 inches, while Nantucket earned 2 to 5.

The weather bureau said cold weather will continue on Wednesday, but there will be less winds than Monday and Tuesday. There are 29 in the Providence area that are close to 29. The temperature should drop to about 11 tonight.
