The 11-year-old mother reveals her life after classmates threatened to call her family.
Her sad parents said an 11-year-old girl earned a living in Texas after being tortured by her classmates and threatened to call immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) authorities and deport her family from the U.S.
Jocelynn Rojo Carranza died on February 8 after five days of treatment at a Dallas hospital. This is when her mother Marbella Carranza tells Univision.
Her death comes as President Donald Trump ordered the “largest deportation operation in American history”, prompting targeted raids with agents from Ice and other federal authorities on about 12 million undocumented immigrants nationwide.
However, for Jocelyn, the climate of fear became too severe.
Allegedly, classmates told her that once she was deported, she would be harassed alone.
But the so-called abuse was swift, and despite multiple reports of notifying school officials, no action was taken to stop the situation.
When asked to comment on the story, the Gainesville Independent School District did not acknowledge Karanza's death, but issued a statement pointing to its strict anti-bullying regulations.

“I've been waiting for a whole week of miracles, and my daughter will be fine, but unfortunately, nothing is done.”
“My daughter will live forever and I will love her forever.”
Her mother revealed to her daughter that her daughter met the school counselor several times a week.
The daily arrest rate for ice officials has almost doubled since Trump's inauguration, and the widely announced military flights in the White House have been deported.
The GoFundMe donation page was created, and the 11-year-old struggled to survive in the hospital.
Her father Ernesto Alonso Rojo shared a statement on February 15: “Please help me and my daughter Jocelynn Rojo. She needs to go home; she is in the Emergency Children's Hospital. Any help, God bless you to come back. Very Thanks for all the prayers. Dios Los Bendiga y Le Mande Salud AMiNiña!!!
A person wrote an emotional message of condolences, published in Spanish: “My deepest condolences – No words. Fight for justice for your beloved Jocelynn, hoping that one day you know she is no longer suffering and that there are so many people Feel peace in thought and prayer.”
