Steve Kerr downplays Joe Lacob email leaks

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr isn't losing any sleep over a personal email from owner Joe Lacob that recently surfaced online, even as frustration over the team's uneven start to the season continues to grow.
The email exchange began after a Warriors fan, identified by SFGate as 27-year-old Justin Dutari, contacted Lacob after Golden State lost to the Portland Trail Blazers.
In his message, Dutari questioned whether Stephen Curry needs to score 50 points a night for the Warriors to win, and suggested that Jimmy Butler is being used in the wrong position.
Lacob responded quickly and candidly, providing insight into the internal tensions surrounding the team's woes.
“You can't be as depressed as I am,” Lacob wrote. “I'm looking at it. It's complicated. Style of play. What coaches expect from players. League trends. Jimmy [Butler] Not a problem. “

When asked about the leaked emails, Kerr downplayed the situation entirely, instead focusing on broader privacy concerns.
“I hate it when people release private emails,” Kerr said, via ESPN's Anthony Slater. “Imagine how difficult our lives would be if everyone’s emails were released publicly.
“Joe supports me 100 percent and I support him. We have a great connection, we have great continuity here and the stable environment within our organization is one of our strengths.”

Kerr acknowledged that frustration is widespread throughout the organization.
“We're all frustrated,” Kerr said. “Joe's frustrated, I'm frustrated, Steph and Dre are frustrated, everybody's frustrated. That's the way the league works.”
