Prince Harry resigns in a board dispute:

Prince Harry announced on March 25 that he had resigned as the patron of Sentebale, who co-founded his mother's charity, a month-long dispute between the charity chairmen, and the board of directors and the board of directors had been in dispute for a while.
Harry and his co-founder Prince Seeiso, Prince Seeiso, said they resigned with five board members, who resigned over disputes with Chairman Sophie Chandauka.
Ms Chandauka and the former trustee group both filed allegations of mutual misconduct, and both parties said they had filed claims and evidence with the British Charity Council.
That's what we know.
Why did Prince Harry resign?
Harry established a charity with Prince Seeiso in 2006. The organization's leadership has been at Loggerheads in recent months. Five trustees who resigned – Timothy Boucher, Mark Dyer, Audrey Kgosidintsi, Kelello Lerotholi and Damian West said in a joint statement that they had resigned on the board of directors, Ms Chandauka, resigned from her position, losing “trust and confidence” in her position.
They said Ms Chandauka was appointed in 2023 and his response was to file a lawsuit in the UK, “stop us from voting for her” and that they are resigning to avoid litigation costs as a burden on charity.
“We cannot be very conscience-free to allow Sentebale to take on that legal and financial burden, but instead have no choice but to revoke our post,” the former trustee said in a statement. “It's not a choice that we are willing to make, but something we are forced to take care of the charity.”
Prince Harry and Prince Sisso said in a statement that the former trustees “aim to demand the best interests of the charity and demand that the chairman resign.” They added: “What happened is unimaginable. We are shocked by this, but we have an ongoing responsibility for the beneficiaries of Sentebale, so we will share all our concerns with the charity committee.”
What are Ms Chandaka’s allegations against the former trustee and Prince Harry?
Ms Chandaka said in a statement about the former trustee that she took action to reveal what she said was “poor governance, weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, harassment, misogyny, misogyny, misogyny and the consequent cover-up.” (Misogynoir is a term that points to sharp sexism towards black women.) She said that in addition to filing lawsuits in British courts, she also reported the trustees to the British Charity Council.
After the five trustees resigned, Ms Chandaka immediately appointed four new trustees.
Since then, in an interview with British news media, Ms. Chanduka accused the prince of engaging in harassment and bullying, trying to drive her out of office. A Harry spokesman declined to comment on her latest claim.
Ms Chandauka said her relationship with Harry was “actually great” despite the allegations. But she said: “There are some people on the board who think they can abuse a woman.”
What is Sentebale?
Harry founded the sentebale in 2006 with Prince Seeso, the younger brother of King Letosi III of Lesotho. In honor of Harry's mother Diana, Wales of Wales and Seeiso's mother, the charity raised charities for the HIV Pandemic's influenced community in Lesotho, a small landlocked country, a poor country, a poor country, a poor country, a poor country. In 2019, it expanded its work to nearby Botswana and targeted substance abuse, gender-based violence and other social diseases among young people.
What will happen next?
Both parties have filed a request for wrongdoing with the British Charity Commission, which regulates charities in England and Wales. Although Sentebale operates in southern Africa, it is registered in the UK.
A spokesman for the charity committee said regulators are “evaluating the issue of identifying appropriate regulatory steps”.
