EPCON Community Builds 150 Family Segments for Seniors in New Albany

With the growing growth in central Ohio, housing specifically targeting seniors is coming.

EPCON Community is about to arrive on nearly 64 acres of land in New Albany in a 150-home partition in Haines Creek. Typically, the site is located within the Franklin County line at the northwest corner of Central College Road and the northwest Soldier Street.

New Albany spokesman Josh Poland wrote in an email to the dispatch that staff had begun to work on the website. The EPCON community website shows that the segment is scheduled to open in the fall.

A live program shows that the EPCON community’s 150 home partitions in Haines Creek will be located on the northwest corner of Central College Road and on the northwest corner of Jug Street Road NW in New Albany.

The neighbors are specifically designed for adults aged 55 and older and offer ranch homes with first floor owner suite, abundant natural light, open floor plan and private patio. The development’s website also states that residents will have a “low maintenance lifestyle” as they will handle all lawn maintenance.

The site notes that the breakdown will also provide residents with numerous amenities including clubhouses, fitness centers, swimming pools, kimchi courts and community gardens.
